The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic will feature Texas, Pittsburgh, Maryland and Illinois as the four hosts in the 16th annual, season-opening college basketball tournament. The hosts will advance to the championship rounds scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 18-19. All told, 12 teams from around the country will participate in the tournament that has raised more than $4.5 million since 1995.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), to raise awareness and reduce the risk of cancer while raising funds for the American Cancer Society’s fight to save lives from cancer.
